DHL Global Connectedness Report 2026

The DHL Global Connectedness Report assesses the state and trajectory of globalization at a time of great stress and turbulence in the international environment based on an analysis of over 9 million data points tracking country-to-country flows of trade, capital, information, and people. The 2026 edition examines three main questions: (1) Are global flows still growing? (2) Is geopolitical rivalry fracturing the world economy? (3) Are international flows becoming more regional? The report also updates the DHL Global Connectedness Index, which measures the world's depth of globalization on a scale from 0% to 100% and ranks 180 countries and territories based on the depth and breadth of their international flows.
