PollMap of India: Assembly and Parliamentary Constituency Boundaries and Election Data

This collection comprises 107 Shapefile datasets from the PollMap of India series, published by ML InfoMap. The collection includes state legislative assembly constituency boundaries and election data for Indian states, along with parliamentary constituency boundaries and national election data. Each dataset provides post-delimitation constituency boundaries and includes attribute data on election parties, candidates, voters, and results for one or more election cycles. Datasets are organized by state and election type, covering assembly elections across multiple Indian states and parliamentary elections nationwide. The data enables election analysis, forecasting, and mapping, including profiling of individual constituencies, historical analysis, and predictive estimates of the impact of regional and state-wise electorate swings on political party performance. These data are intended for researchers, students, and policy makers for reference and mapping purposes, and may be used for basic applications such as viewing, querying, and map output production.
