Tá súil againn go n-íocfaidh 'n mhuin,
tir atá in iaráiste do 'n Gaodhal a bh-
fiacha dhó, go beacht. Ní cóir, ní ceart, &
ní cneasda dóibh an Gaodhal do ghlacadh
gan íoch ar a shon. Deir an Scripitúr
Naomhtha nach rachfaidh aoinneach go Flai¬
theas 'nó go n-íocfaidh sé an fheóirling
dhéighionach." Más fíor sin — & muna bh¬
fíor ní fiú 'n Scriptiúr an páipeur ar
a bhfuil sé sgríobhtha — is iomdha an Gao¬
dhal a bhéidheas i bhfíor iachtair ifrinn ar
feadh na síorruidheachta, 'g iarruigh deor
uisge le bárr a dteangan a fhliuchadh —
Má théidheann muidne 'n bealach, dtiúbh¬
ramuid dóibh é ? — diabhal deor!

airt dhó, & má láimhsigheann siadsan é,
támar cinnte go mbéidhidh rath air.
